IV Infusion Therapy Q & A

Why IV Nutrition?

IV Nutrition and Hydration is an effective method for delivering natural vitamins, nutrients and electrolytes directly into the
bloodstream. By delivering through IV drip, we can assure complete absorption of all IV fluids which makes them
immediately available for cellular use and results in instant rejuvenation.

>>Intravenous administration of nutrients can achieve serum concentrations not obtainable with oral,
or even intramuscular (IM), administration
Instant Hydration. IV therapy is the quickest method of introducing fluids to your system and takes effect as soon as the
treatment starts.
Glowing Skin. Achieve an instant glow with IV therapy which delivers vitamins and antioxidants straight to your body.
Detoxification. IV therapy detoxifies your system; this speeds your natural healing process and strengthens immunity.

OUR MENU

Hydration: 500mL of Normal Saline, an isotonic solution aimed purely at safely and quickly rehydrating you,
upgrade to 1L of fluid if you’re feeling very dehydrated.
Vitamin C: 5000mg of ascorbic acid dripped into your bloodstream with plenty of fluids, great for boosting
immunity, and rebuilding collagen in your skin and connective tissues.

What is the “Myers cocktail?”

John Myers, MD, a physician from Balti- more, Maryland, pioneered the use of intravenous (IV) vitamins and
minerals as part of the overall treatment of various medical problems. This formulation has been used and
proven effective against: migraines, fatigue, muscle spasm, upper respiratory tract infections, and many other
disorders including athletic performance.

Calm: Similar to the Myers cocktail, we’ve increased the dosage of Pyridoxine aka B6 and Magnesium.
These nutrients at higher dosages are known to help regulate stress and work great as a natural mood
booster.

Immunity: Prepping for a long flight? Feeling a scratch in your throat? We’ve loaded the Myers Cocktail with
extra vitamin C and doubled up on the zinc to help build up your immune system and fight infection.

Hangover: For those who work hard but play harder. This formula is aimed at supporting the liver and helping
you detox with all of the vitamins, electrolytes and antioxidants your body needs. If you have nausea, let us
know and we can fix it, instantly.

Performance: Help break your fitness records with this specially formulated blend of aminos combined with
the base solution of the Myer’s cocktail. All of the vitamins, minerals and anti inflammatory agents necessary
to help you go the extra mile. The trifecta of M.I.C., Taurine and Carnitine are aimed at cardiovascular health,
fat loss, and increasing exercise tolerance.

Glutathione is involved in many processes in the body, including tissue building and repair, making chemicals and proteins needed in the body, and for the immune system.

Some of the many functions of glutathione include:
● Cell proliferation and apoptosis (cell death)
● Epigenetic mechanisms (aka Gene expression)
● Free-radical scavenging and redox balance
● Metabolism of xenobiotics involvement (toxins or substances that should not be found in the body)
● Modulates the function of the immune system
● As one of the conjugators for Phase II biotransformation (detoxification)

Your body produces and recycles glutathione, but that does not mean there is an endless well. There are times
when the oxidative stress or toxic load may be more than your body’s current capacity to synthesize sufficient levels
of glutathione or other underlying reasons for lower glutathione levels, such as poor nutrition or chronic stress.
Research has found that many chronic diseases are associated with a reduction in glutathione levels, leading to the
hypothesis that increasing glutathione levels can help prevent and/or mitigate the progression of these diseases.

Below is a list of some of the diseases and issues associated with glutathione deregulation or deficiency:
● Aging and related disorders
● Alzheimer’s disease
● Cancer
● Chronic liver disease
● Cognitive impairment
● Cystic fibrosis

● Diabetes
● HIV/AIDS
● Hypertension
● Infertility in both men and women
● Lupus
● Mental health disorders

● Multiple sclerosis
● Neurodegenerative disorders
● Parkinson’s disease
● Preeclampsia
● Ulcerative colitis

Anti-Inflammatory and Antioxidant Support

In addition to its work as an antioxidant, glutathione plays a role in the immune system and maintaining a healthier inflammatory response, and chronic inflammation can contribute to oxidative stress and exhaust glutathione stores. As such, other compounds known for their anti-inflammatory properties can also help support glutathione levels. Glutathione may be the mother of all antioxidants, but it does not work by itself. It is part of a complex antioxidant system that works synergistically to retain redox balance. Therefore, ensuring adequate levels of other key antioxidants, such as Vitamin C, can also support glutathione levels.
